Jail Guidelines Empty Jail Guidelines

Fri Aug 19, 2022 3:14 pm
These guidelines are both to be informed to inmates, and also to help the organization of the inmates as they are arrested.

CELLS

There are two cells on the Mystic Beach Police Department, and inmates must be divided in the following distribution: males at the cell on the end of the cellblock and females at the cell closest to the door.

UNIFORMS

There are uniforms available for free just outside the cellblock, but inmates can also wear their own uniforms, if they would prefer, as long as it is either of the following:
  • A white or orange top, be it a shirt, a t-shirt or a tank top, and orange pants. Words such as 'jail', 'inmate', 'corrections', etc. can be present on either the shirt or the pants.
  • An orange jumpsuit, with the possibility of having the same wording on it.

Inmates are also not allowed to wear sneakers, jewelry or items that have the potential to harm themselves or other inmates. Their belongings, including these, will be stored and returned when they are released.

NUTRITION AND HEALTHCARE

Jailers will provide three scheduled meals to the inmates, based on a state-approved standardized nutrition diet, including alternative diets for the most common cases of dietary restrictions. Prescribed medicines will also be given to the inmates while in custody of the Mystic Beach Parish Police Department, following the schedule already on course by the inmate, or a scheduled issued by a doctor, if the treatment starts while the inmate is in custody.

PHONE CALLS AND VISITS

Inmates have the right to one phone call and such call must be watched by a police officer on duty. Inmates have the right to receive visits, unless otherwise stated, but those visitors will be searched for any sign of contraband or dangerous objects before their entrance is permitted and any metallic objects, controlled substances or weapons with the visitor will be left at the reception during the visit. Visitors will need to keep a distance of at least a foot from the cell bars during the visit, and will be always watched by a police officer on duty.

NPC JAILERS

All of the Non-Player Jailers will provide the inmates with the nutrition and healthcare mentioned above, in the absence of players. They will treat the inmates fairly and they won't accept bribes to bring contraband or to give any privileges to the inmates. In case of any problems, they will call immediately for backup that, in the absence of players, will be done by NPC officers present in the station.
